Light and Camera in Motion
MOVEMENT FOR A GRADIENT
“Pero hay algo que está más allá (de copiar la realidad). Algo más que eso: registrar un tiempo, o un tiempo de exposición. Así, por ejemplo, la serie Theaters capta más o menos dos horas por película, lo que crea una visión única a la que sólo puede acceder la cámara”. [29]

Light study 9
Study of light through camera movement and long exposure
Variables
CAMERA: 3 different exposure times (Av): 1S, 2S, and 3.2S
In this test, a series of long exposure photographs are taken of a previous model, with the addition of camera movement from right to left of the model at equal distances (refer to the diagram).
The three photographs present a similar movement, with differences between them due to the exposure time used.
For photograph 1, a 1-second exposure was used, resulting in a rapid camera movement that diffuses the gradual tone composition of the scene into a soft and suggestive gradient.
For photographs 2 and 3, exposure times of 2 and 3.2 seconds were used, respectively. In photograph 3, the edges of the planes that separate the spaces begin to become more pronounced, as more time was taken to traverse the same space, resulting in a photograph with a slower movement.
